This serves to inform the general public, interested and
affected parties that the following draft Zambian Standards are being
developed by the Energy Regulation Board (ERB) in conjunction with the
Zambia Bureau of Standards (ZABS) and other stakeholders. The Draft
standards available for public comments are:-

DZS 673:2005 - Rail Tank Wagons- Specifications
2.
DZS 704:2007 - Transportation Pipeline System for Liquid
Hydrocarbons Code of Practice
3.
DZS 690:2006 - Guide for the Design, Construction and Operation
of Electric Power
Substations for Community Acceptance and
Environmental Compatibility
4.
DZS 691:2006 - Guide for Safety in AC Substation Grounding
5.
DZS 692:2006 - Guide for Substation Fire Protection
The General public, interested and affected parties are advised that
they can request for the above listed draft standards from the ERB's
Public Affairs Offices in Lusaka or Kitwe.
All comments on the draft standards should be submitted in writing to
the Executive Director, ERB, not later than 31st October 2007 on the
