Pursuant to Regulation 22 of Statutory Instrument (SI) No.38 of 2024 – The Electricity (Net Metering) Regulations, the Energy Regulation Board (ERB) has determined the 2026 Net Metering Tariff.
The Board has maintained the tariffs at US$c6.00/kWh (translating to K1.350/kWh). Additionally, the Distribution Use of System Charge to be levied by ZESCO for the year 2026 shall not exceed US$c3.00/kWh, which translates to K0.66/kWh.
