Press Statement – Clarification on Media Report Claiming a National Diesel Crisis

The Energy Regulation Board (ERB) wishes to respond to an article published on 3rd December 2025 alleging that Zambia is experiencing a diesel crisis arising from supply constraints attributed to INDENI Energy Company Limited (INDENI). The ERB would like to assure the nation that there is currently no diesel crisis in Zambia.
