VACANCIES ANNOUNCEMENT
The Energy Regulation Board (ERB) is a statutory body established under the Energy Regulation Act No. 12 of 2019 to regulate the energy sector by licensing undertakings and ensuring consumers receive a quality service at an equitable price while ensuring a reasonable rate of return to the energy utilities.
The ERB now seeks to recruit for the following positions:
1. DIRECTOR CONSUMER AND PUBLIC AFFAIRS (1 Position)
Job Purpose
The Director Consumer and Public Affairs primary role is to direct and coordinate public affairs functions in order to safeguard consumer interests and project a positive image of the Energy Regulation Board to all stakeholders and the general public.

2. DIRECTOR LICENSING (1 Position)
Job Purpose
The job purpose of the Director Licensing is to coordinate the processing of license applications in the energy sector to ensure compliance to stipulated guidelines, standards and relevant statutory instruments under the Energy Regulations Act No. 12 of 2019, and submit recommendations to the Licensing Committee and the Board. The incumbent will also manage day to day operations of the Licensing department.

3. DIRECTOR FINANCE (1 Position)
Job Purpose
The Director Finance is responsible for the financial function of the ERB that ensures financial operations are compliant with relevant legislations and established accounting standards. The incumbent is responsible for budgeting, establishing sound financial management systems, transparent accounting reporting procedures, and institute operational controls in order to achieve ERB Strategic goals in an effective and efficient manner.
